Description
The starting point of this tour is in the Los Lojas parish, which is surrounded by the Daule River and several hills covered with tropical dry forest. A moderate ascent by asphalted road takes us to the detour to the El Rincón site. We will follow a ballast road crossing rice fields and several farmhouses. After having skied small ascents and descents we will arrive at the El Tape enclosure. Here we will take a canoe to tour the Pula River, one of the main tributaries of the Daule River. We can enjoy the picturesque landscape and observe the way of life of the inhabitants on the banks of the river. In addition, we will be able to observe different species of birds: herons, kingfishers, caracara elanios, etc. Finally we will return by the same route to Los Lojas.
