The Monastery of Monreale built at the end of the XII century by William II, the Norman king of Sicily, it's a mix of Sicilian and Byzantine style. The highlight of the Cathedral is its interior, full of amazing golden mosaics, all over the walls of the nave, aisles, transept and apse - more than 80 thusend SF in total. At the edn of the visit of Monreale, we drive for approx 45 min to Cefalù, a medieval town faced on the Tyrrenian sea. The Norman style dominate the town, the stunning Cathedral, the magnificent pedestrian path and the beautiful cost of Cefalù, it's a gift of mother nature to Sicily and the tourists decide to visit this marvelous place.
