Your tour of Niagara Falls, USA begins with pick up directly from your downtown hotel in Buffalo, NY.
After a quick drive to Niagara Falls, your guide will bring you to your first attraction, a boat ride on the famous Maid of the Mist. Before you board, you’ll have a chance to check out the view from the Prospect Point Observation Tower, located directly above the boarding site for the Maid of the Mist boat tour. While you’re on the boat tour, you’ll take in incredible views, hear the thunderous roars of the rushing waterfalls and you may get a bit wet, depending on where you stand - but don’t worry, you will be provided with a rain poncho for this boat ride.
The next stop on your tour is a visit to Goat Island which connects to Terrapin Point and Luna Island as well. While here you’ll learn about the history of the Falls, see the Nikola Tesla monument overlooking the Falls, and get very close to the Bridal Veil Falls which are situated between Goat Island and Luna Island.
After your Goat Island visit, your guide will take you to Cave of the Winds where you will descend 175 ft. into the Niagara Gorge before heading out onto a series of walkways leading to the “hurricane deck” - only a few feet away from the Bridal Veil Falls. You will be so close that it will feel like you’re surrounded by tropical storm-like conditions, even when it’s calm out.
At the end of your Niagara Falls tour, your guide will return you to your downtown Buffalo accommodation.

We’re driving in from out of town, where should we park?
We recommend parking at the Seneca Casino which has a free parking lot located between 4th and 6th St. You will find the entrance to the lot from Niagara St. This parking location is conveniently located within 5 minutes from our meeting point.
How wet do we get on the Maid of the Mist boat?
This generally depends on where you stand on the boat while you get close to the waterfalls. If you stand near the back of the boat, you won’t get very wet. If you stand near the front of the boat, you can expect to get fairly wet. You will be provided with a poncho while on board. Most travelers will still take their phones and cameras on board. Some travelers will choose to bring a change of shoes.
