Your Halifax sightseeing adventure begins with a pick-up from your downtown hotel, setting off for a day of scenic and historic exploration.
First, you’ll head to Peggy’s Cove, a charming fishing village less than an hour from Halifax. Your guide will share interesting facts about the area along the way. At Peggy’s Cove, capture a photo with the iconic Peggy’s Point Lighthouse, Canada’s most photographed, and enjoy free time to browse small shops or relax by the stunning ocean.
Next, return to Halifax to visit Citadel Hill, a historic fortress. Discover its military past and see Highlander re-enactors in 1800s uniforms bringing history to life.
Then, take a narrated driving tour through downtown Halifax, passing key sites like Fairview Lawn Cemetery (Titanic graves), Halifax Public Gardens, Pier 21, the Farmers’ Market, and Point Pleasant Park. Your guide’s stories highlight the city’s vibrant heritage.
