Museums close on Mondays in Florence!
The tour guide was fantastic. I would suggest that Viator explain that the museums in Florence close on Mondays so we were unable to see for instance the original David statue as the museum was closed. We were very disappointed at that.

Isabela and Nikola, our guides in Florence were phenomenal. They were adaptable what we wanted to see and answered our many questions along the way. They are not part-timers, they are true professionals who have been focused on this work for many years and the locals acknowledge who they are. If I’d be able to give 10 stars, I would have…all coming from someone who doesn’t leave reviews.

Fantatsitc Day with our guide Duygu
From the get-go, I was very impressed with the quick communication with Guided Istanbul Tour. Melissa was very prompt with her confirmation email to assure me that someone will meet us at our hotel at the appointed time. It is our first time in Istanbul so little details like that do matter. And what a great start to get to know the city with this 1-day private tour. Our lovely guide Duygu was very knowledgeable about the history of Turkey as we walked around the key highlights of old town like the Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Our favourite was the Basilica Cistern, even though it's the smallest site, there's something quite spiritual about the place. Duygu"s warm personality also made the trip felt like a day out with an old trusted friend. She even took us to her favourite place for Iskendar Kebab, it was a yummy lunch! Ask for Duygu as your guide, you won't be disappointed! Thank you Melissa and Duygu, all the best for your business!
