Full description
Berlin Mitte holds more history per block than almost anywhere else in the city, and this two-hour walking tour moves through it one stop at a time. Start your journey with a fresh döner kebab, Berlin's own reinvention of a Turkish classic, paired with a Kindl-and-Pilsner beer pairing, then pause opposite Museum Island's grand facades before the walk continues.
From there, a Berliner Weisse beer cocktail in a bar that's poured drinks since the night before German reunification, and a wander through a street art alley layered with Jewish heritage and postwar reinvention. Next comes the currywurst debate that's split Berliners for decades, East style or West, you decide.
The walk closes with a donut, fresh and unhurried, a sweet way to end two hours of food, beer and history through one of Berlin's most layered neighborhoods.

- Please bring a bottle of water – although we do have drinks stops throughout the tour, walking can be thirsty work.
