Highly recommended walking tour
Brilliant experience with our guide Jimmy. Really knowledge and friendly, offered excellent facts and thorough explanations. Well paced walk and a really great selection of some of Berlin’s best historical sites. Fantastic!
Really good tour!!
Campbell was a really good guide. I thought he struck a nice balance for the group with the level of information given at each location. He was then happy to discuss any of the locations in more detail. I'm no historian, but I love my history podcasts and this really lived up to the expectations that had been set in the reviews.
Third Reich & Cold War walking tour is wonderful!
My husband and I signed up for the "Third Reich and Cold War" walking tour on September 19, 2026. Because we are seniors with mild limitations of physical endurance we chose the 2-hour walking tour versus the 1/2 day option. We met our tour guide "Ru" at Brandenburg Gate. From there we made 7 total stops that included, "The Reichstag": Site tied of the final Soviet assault; "Berlin Wall remnant"; "Memorial to the Murdered Jews of Europe"; Führerbunker Site: The underground location of Hitler's final days"; SS headquarters; and ended at "Checkpoint Charlie". Ru (tour guide) was wonderful, very knowledgeable of the history of Berlin, and sensitively and respectfully explained this World War II history, answering all our questions along the way. I imagine that the 1/2 day tour would be as excellent but with more comprehensive information about this key history of the 2nd World War and the role of Hitler and Berlin specifically. Ru provided "less-well-know" facts such as how Hitler also targeted other ethnic groups ("Sinti Roma" otherwise known as "gypsies" and individuals and children with disabilities.) There are separate memorials to each of these people groups that you can visit at another time. Since our tour was only 2 hours, Ru provided recommendations of other sites to visit, which we did the next day. We appreciated being able to walk and stand in the places we were learning about. There was something more ominously personal and "real" by the "walking tour" experience versus a visual experience from a tour bus. We highly recommended the Third Reich and Cold War Walking Tour.

Great walking tour
Rohan really made the tour come alive with his knowledge of the places we visited and the personal stories of those involved. I would suggest that this tour is a must for anyone visiting Berlin.
