Meet your guide and group in central Berlin, where you begin your walk. Start out with an orientation and overview of Berlin's various ethnic enclaves and countercultures, each of which boasts a unique niche.  Over the course of your half-day walk, stop in Kreuzberg to learn about its growing Turkish community and the blending of German and Turkish culture. Pass organic markets, urban farms, guerrilla gardens, and examples of urban street art. Stop by the city's oldest beer garden, Prater Garten, and learn about Berlin's eclectic food scene, which encompasses everything from traditional German food to currywurst and doner kebab. Listen to your guide talk about the city's various counterculture movements from past and present on your way to Yaam Beach, home to the burgeoning reggae scene. Leave off here, with lots of suggestions from your guide as to where you can explore further.
