Belfast black taxi tours

This is a “must do” when in Belfast. Robert was an excellent guide, very happy to have had him. Very knowledgeable, patient with our questions and a good driver. His impartiality to the information shared was appreciated.

Didn’t know what to expect. Ended up having the BEST Viator experience ever, and we’ve had many. Jake taught us so much and showed us so much in such a short period. We came away with a much better understanding of the, “Troubles,” but also with a thirst to know more. We THINK that we know about the Berlin wall, the Gaza wall, and the Belfast wall-but there’s so much more to understand. Through it all, Jake expressed all of those history-not with bitterness, but with hope gor his fellow man. This was a very moving and inspiring experience. Pray for these people.

We had a fantastic Black Taxi Tour with Mark and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more. The tour was incredibly informative and interesting, but what made it really special was hearing about such an important and complex part of Belfast’s history from someone with lived experience. It gives you a very different perspective from simply reading about it. Mark was brilliant with us. He patiently answered all our questions and spoke slowly and clearly so that my family could follow, giving me plenty of time to translate when needed. He never rushed us and actually gave us much more of his time than we had booked. He was also super punctual, friendly and genuinely lovely. To top it all off, I accidentally left my phone in the taxi and Mark went out of his way to bring it back to me afterwards. A fascinating, memorable experience and one I can 100% recommend. Thank you, Mark!

Very interesting and informative tour. Great way to see up close the murals, walls and learn the history of the divide in Belfast. Jake was a great guide.

Guide is so very knowledgeable and engaging. He also planned opportunities for photographing key points.
