Beijing's Imperial Wonders Tour

A fun, fluent tour guide who knew a lot to tell about the sights. Thought well with our wishes. The lunch was delicious, nice restaurant. A taxi was ready every time after the viewing, very nice!!

Our tour guide Wendy was amaing, providing thoughtful companionship and patient explanations. The Forbidden City was particularly impressive, the Temple of Heaven was exceptionally beautiful, and the Summer Palace had breathtaking scenery. Our Small Group Tour of Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace was exceptional, thanks to our guide Nancy, who turned a classic itinerary into a personalised and deeply memorable experience. Early in the day, we mentioned that we had already visited the Summer Palace, and Nancy immediately offered thoughtful alternatives. She suggested other sites around Beijing that matched our interests and seamlessly adjusted the schedule so we could explore places we genuinely wanted to see. Her flexibility and willingness to tailor the day made the tour feel uniquely ours. What made the experience even more special was the personal connection Nancy created. We asked many questions about her life, and she was warm, open and happy to share her experiences. Through her stories, we gained not only a deeper understanding of Beijing’s major sites, but also a meaningful insight into how local people live. This combination of cultural learning and personal exchange was invaluable and added a dimension to the tour that we will never forget. Nancy felt less like a guide and more like a friend showing us around her city. Her kindness, adaptability and genuine enthusiasm made the entire day relaxed, engaging and unforgettable. I highly recommend this tour. We were able to see so much in 1 day and learned many unique facts. Our guide Linda was AMAZING and really catered the tour for our family. She even made a suggestion on an acrobatics show to do that night after the tour and we really enjoyed that. When we come back we will for sure ask for her to be our guide!

Sunny (Lingling) speaks excellent English, but was also happy to let us practice our Chinese with her. She gave us a lot of interesting information and was happy to answer all of our questions. It was a super hot day and she was great at getting us quickly through the crowds, keeping us hydrated, and finding shady places to stop. She was very flexible about the itinerary, offered to help us book a post-tour restaurant. We would not have been able in a single day to visit even one or two of these important sites in our own, so this trip was worth every penny. It was a LOT of walking, and I’m soaked with sweat and I’m still very happy about the whole thing.
