In contrast to crowded lodges and other backpacking tours in Alaska, our camps are comfortable, safe, and limited to 6 guests.

Things to know

Before you book

  • There are no bathrooms in the backcountry, so bathroom breaks are done nature-style

  • You must be able to walk on uneven, soft, rocky, and slippery terrain for up to 5+ miles per day

  • Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult

  • Minimum age requirement of 12 years old

  • This tour is rated as Moderate to Strenuous

Before you go

  • Bring snacks, and a water bottle (water will be refilled at camp)

  • Bring a backpack 70-80 liters, clothes for dressing in layers

  • Waterproof rain jacket & rain pants required
