Your day starts with a pickup from your central Adelaide hotel or Glenelg. Hop aboard an air-conditioned minivan, meet your guide and discuss your flexible itinerary. Then, head toward the Barossa Valley.
First, visit family-owned Dell'uva Wines in Greenock. Then, move to the second winery, the historic Seppeltsfield—one of Australia’s oldest—where you take part in a tasting that includes fortified wine before heading to the Jam Factory for a look at local art and Vasse Virgin to take a look at their all-natural olive oil products.
Maggie Beer's Farm Shop is up next on the itinerary, a must-visit in the Barossa Valley, where you can taste a variety of gourmet delicacies. Then head to Grant Burge, known for bubbly wine, where you have lunch.
Following an optional walk through the Barossa Sculpture Garden, head to the Barossa Valley Cheese Company, an artisan cheese producer in the town of Angaston. Sample from dozens of award-winning cheeses made with milk from local dairies. Then, take in views of the valley from Mengler Hill lookout.
Afterward, if time permits your driver shares one of his or her favorite wineries with your group, such as Z Wine.
Then, head back to your accommodations and finish your tour with a drop-off there.
