Quick pace- informative
Knowledgeable guide. Fast pace. We chose to do lunch on our own, then realized the timing was before many restaurants opened their kitchens, so hurried to get something simple to rejoin the group on time to find the group lunch ran 20 minutes late. So I’d recommend doing the group lunch. It’s a lot to see in one day. You might consider a day trip on your own to each of you have time- then you can move at your more comfortable pace.
Mateo and Segovia... a good combination
We had an excellent day with Mateo, our guide. It was an informative and fun tour. I will definitely recommend it to everyone.

An Unforgettable Day Trip to Segovia – Highly Recommended!
Our day trip to Segovia from Madrid was an absolutely excellent experience from start to finish!The journey was incredibly smooth and stress-free, thanks to our driver, Manuel, who provided a highly comfortable ride. Once we arrived, our guide, Mateo, was fantastic and incredibly friendly, welcoming, and highly knowledgeable. The tour itself was deeply educational and packed with history. Standing in front of the unbelievable Roman Aqueduct was a true highlight. It is an absolute marvel of engineering built over 2,000 years ago, and we were fascinated to learn that it actually remained operational until 1973. We also loved exploring the stunning castle (Alcázar), which holds centuries of rich history. Another major highlight was the Cathedral, situated right in the middle of this charming, historic town. It is filled with a vast amount of history and culture, echoing stories of passion, love, hate, and mystery at every corner. If you are visiting Madrid, Segovia is a must-visit destination. It is just a short, one-hour bus ride away. You definitely won’t regret making the trip. We definitely recommend this tour, and thank Mateo, and Manuel for the experience provoded!
