An exciting cooking class in which professional chef Carolyn welcomes you into her cozy home to prepare a delicious meal.

 
Carolyn was born in California but has lived in Venice for 30 years. She has been working as a chef for at least 20 years and has won numerous awards in Italy and abroad. A few years ago, she decided to share her love of cooking with people and teach you how to prepare traditional Italian dishes.

 
During the lesson, you will learn how to prepare traditional Venetian dishes: you will prepare fresh handmade pasta, following the Italian style of pasta preparation.  The main dish will be 'ravioli all'italiana' with a meat or fish filling and a delicious sauce made with seasonal vegetables (such as artichokes, tomatoes or potatoes from the lagoon island).

 
Together with Chef Carolyn, only fresh, local products will be used, purchased from famous Venetian markets such as Rialto, one of the oldest markets in Europe.

 
A real meal cannot end without a delicious dessert. Here you will try your hand at making a delicious crème patissière, used to fill some of the local desserts.

 
When everything is ready, you can sit and enjoy your meal in the living room and chat with Carolyn over a glass of Italian wine!
