15 minutes prior to your prearranged departure time, greet your guide on 3rd Street, just west of Congress Avenue. Here, you’ll have the option to don a protective helmet before jumping on a bike suited to your size.
Your first stop is the majestic Treaty Oak, a 600-year-old tree that played a significant role in the formation of Texas. Cruise past one of the state’s last remaining moon towers, made famous by cult film Dazed and Confused, before exploring the campus of the University of Texas and hearing of its gruesome history.
Then, proceed to Sholtz Garden, a 19th-century bar hailed as one of Texas’ oldest businesses. Opt to purchase a refreshing beer and then, sated, pedal to your final stop: the Texas Capitol.
Your tour concludes back at your original departure point on 3rd Street.
