Auckland City Discovery E-Bike Tour

Itinerary

9.15am - Our tour meets at our store conveniently located at Unit D, 80 Wyndham Street

9.30am - The tour commences with introductions and safety briefing

9.45am - Participants are guided on foot to first stop for introduction to NZ and the early days of Auckland.

10am - Bikes and helmets allocated to each participant; guides assist with bike and helmet fitting. 

10.15am - Visit Britomart for more information on Auckland in this new precinct which is now the hippest shopping and entertainment district in the city.

10.30am - Visit the wonderful Domain park and cycle and view the Auckland museum.

11am - Visit the alternative suburb of K Road and the historic St Kevins Arcade.

11.30am - Stop for Coffee / light refreshments

12 noon - We will continue to cycle along the new pink light path taking in stunning views of Auckland and the sky tower

12.30pm - Visit the Harbour (Te Whero) Bridge

1.10pm - Visit the Wynyard Quarter and Viaduct, Stunning views across the harbour to Auckland skyline with Sky Tower.

1.30pm - Reach Wyndham St our starting point for farewells and to return bikes. Souvenir maps provided.

If you've never ridden an e-bike before, you're set to also discover why so many people are falling in love with electric assist bicycles! They make riding the volcanoes around Auckland lots of fun and super easy.

Price includes private guide, e-bike hire (with helmet and lock), light refreshments and bottled water.

GRADE 2 - whilst this route involves hill climbs, these are made super easy on an e-bike.

* Children under 14 years are not permitted to ride an e-bike. Participants must be able to ride a standard bike confidently and unassisted.
