Auburn Avenue African American Half Day Human Rights/Civil Rights Tour
Auburn Avenue African American Half Day All Inclusive Tour is designed to give guests an overview of Black life and culture in Atlanta, starting from Juneteenth/Emancipation Day 1865 to Atlanta modern Civil Rights Movement 1965. Heavy emphasis will be placed on Rosenwald educational system for Black students in Atlanta and Booker T Washington who was known as the Great Black Educator. Come and see the relationship between Alonzo Herndon, George Washington Carver, and Julius Rosenwald Foundation.
Guests will see Atlanta Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), Georgia's first Black public high school and America's first Black city park.
