With traditional systems, communication between your guide and others typically occurs on a break or at the end of the experience since it's very loud driving in open-air vehicles with revving engines. At Wild Desert Tours, our helmets have built-in intercoms and are even equipped with drop down sunglasses for bright, mid-day tours. Our advanced intercom system allows you to communicate with everyone on the tour, at any time, even if they are in separate vehicles. More importantly, the connected helmets allow our tour guides to provide real-time directions and alert drivers of challenging terrain. We invested in this technology because we strongly believe real time communication promotes an accident-free experience and safety is our top priority!

Drive some of Can Am's most extreme off-roading vehicles during the day OR night! These off-road vehicles are commonly known as Side-By-Sides or UTVs (and provide much more protection and safety than a traditional ATV). Don't expect flat dirt trails for this experience. Anticipate twists and turns, ups & downs, uneven terrain, with loose & hard packed sand. Fauna seen on this tour include: lizards, squirrels, jackrabbits, snakes, and foxes (most to least common).
