ATV Quad Adventure – Trip To Kulen Mountain Waterfall

We set off early on this full day trip to Phnom Kulen National Park. It is located approximately 54km north of Siem Reap town and it was the source of sandstone to build temples during the Angkor period. When driving up the steep hills, we will see the most beautiful landscape imaginable.

Once arriving at Kulen Mountain National Park our first stop is Preah Ang Thom to visit the famous historical Reclining Buddha on the top of Preah Ang Thom Temple, also famous for its appearance in Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001). This 16th-century giant Reclining Buddha is truly a sight to behold, measuring up to 8m. The statue was carved into a huge sandstone.

Next we will stop at a good place to have lunch at one of the local restaurant huts overlooking the river and waterfalls. After lunch we will visit to the famous 1000 Lingas river bed carvings. There are many figures of Lingas and Yoni and other carved Hindu Gods into the rocks of the riverbed.

We will wind down this tour with a cooling swim in the pools of the Kulen Waterfalls. The Kulen Waterfalls are divided into two parts and are truly elegant and breathtaking.

This magnificent mountain became the city-center of the Khmer Kingdom under the reign of Jayavarman II, 802 AD. When driving up the steep hills, we will see the most beautiful landscape imaginable. It became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1992 and is therefore protected by the Cambodian Government.

Experience the countryside and historical highlights beyond the streets of Siem Reap. On the way to mountain, you will see rice paddies, birds, village scenery, school. This tour spends around 8 hours and also includes with picnic lunch nearby the waterfall.

You can choose to ride only solo for your adventure. Safety assessment and experience staff provided to ensure safety and maximum fun.
