- Please note that there will be a free time gap between the Athens tour and the Cape Sounio tour, varying based on the time of year (Cape Sounio winter departure around 03:00 PM, summer departure around 04:00 PM), break duration varies depending on the time of the year between 1.5 to 2.5 hours

Great full day of sites
We decided on this tour to see most of what we wanted to see on our one full day in Athens prior to a cruise. It did not disappoint. We saw so much without the effort of having to plan each step on our own. The afternoon break was long enough for us to grab lunch, walk back to our hotel and take a quick siesta before having to meet back up for the rest of the tour. The sunset at Poseidons Temple was amazing.
Breathtaking Sunset and location
The actual experience and place is out of this world and I highly recommend you go however the tour I was on was just terrible. The day was really rushed. We stopped at a beach which took away the time from the actual sunset location of Poseidons Temple. By the time we got there it was super crowded with other buses and tourists, it was hard to get photos and to find somewhere for the sunset was hard. The cost of the day did not include the entry to the temple which I thought was also very pricey. We also had no time to go bathroom there or even loom at the gift shop. Again this is something everyone should experience, the sunset and location is just out of this world but I would go with another company or make my own way there.
Perfect full day trip of Athens
Wow what a great day that was packed full and very informative. We started at 830am and final drop off was at 930pm. This included a 2.5-3 hour break between for lunch. Guide was fabulous and had lots of local info including wonderful places to try local dishes. You will see a the main sights and get a feel for the overall city. Plus away from town a nice drive beyond and time at a beach. Guide was well versed in history and greek mythology. The Mercedes van was new and well equipped. Always within steps of our tour with plenty of cold a/c and water on board. End of summer trip so quite warm.

Parts of this tour were...
Parts of this tour were really enjoyable. Our guide for the 1st tour was very nice, but skipped several of the stops on our morning tour. We were supposed to have an hour and half break and it was over a 3 hour break. The guide that took us through the Acropolis was amazing--so full of knowledge. The sunset portion of our tour --the Posiden Temple at sunset gorgeous views--it would have been nice to have a gyude there to explain a little bit. The stop at the lake, was just that--look at lake. The beach stop we just enjoyed a drink and snack during that free time. The bus driver on this portion drove like a maniac---30 -40 KM over the speed limit and we complained about the air not being cold enough--but he wouldn't turn it down. I would find a different company to full your day in Athens--it is a great city wuth lots to see
