Summary

The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. The tour starts around Sunset and lasts for 2 hours. It consists of looking through telescopes, learning how to find objects in the sky using binoculars, a talk about the cosmos and a Q & A session. Guests are free to stay after the show to continue looking at the stars as I take down my equipment.

Why take this tour?

A tour for all ages just outside of Boulder (accessible by Taxi, Lyft & Uber). Tours start at sunset and last for 2 hours. The show will explore the night sky with several large telescopes and a laser pointer. We will see and learn about planets, constellations, navigation, satellites, nebula, clusters, galaxies, maybe some shooting stars, and our universe. Through telescopes we will get up close looks at these objects and take in their beauty with our own eyes. The tour takes place at a easy to find trailhead (no hiking required) where phenomenal sunsets and wildlife are often seen. Guests are provided with a red flashlight, comfy camp seating, bug spray, snacks, hot water, tea, instant coffee, hot chocolate, and cookies. Guests are encouraged to bring questions, wonderment, and warm clothing (it can get cool after sunset)
