Our driver Arakel was outstanding and really made the day. Very charming, ex football referee, he spoke very good english. He is the very best driver we have had. Safe on these sometimes challenging roads but at the same time able to drive at a good speed which helps on such a long driving day. We would recommend both him and the company Hyur to anyone. Absolutely wonderful trip with spectacular views of three Monasteries. Our driver Araqel welcomed us in from of the hotel, the entire trip was well scheduled with steady driving, Araqel took good care of us who helped with cable car ticket booking and lunch reservation - highly efficient and effective. Araqel also took us to enjoy the best view of Tatev which is truly breathtaking, many thanks and strongly recommend!!

My partner Sophie and I (Aus) were lucky enough to have Arthur Harutyunyan for our trip. Arthur was extremely prompt and friendly, enthusiastically utilising a translation app to chat and tell us about the areas we visited, himself, and general history of Armenia. He seemed to know people at every stop, and gave us behind the scenes insights into the local produce and agriculture, treating us to fresh peaches and brandy and a wine tasting. He was always seeking feedback and asking us if we wanted to do extras like stop and take photos- nothing seemed a hassle. He also persevered to make sure we got see Tatev and ride the cable car (even when up against an impending storm)- to quote him directly “we will make sure you get to see everything you want” His excellent driving should also be noted- he was always mindful of other (poor) drivers, and we never felt uneasy. We must also note the communication from the company before the trip commenced was excellent. 10/10 would recommend this wonderful trip and this agency.

Our guides were exceptional, thank you to Anna and our driver Harut. There was a small issue with the bus before we left, but it was well communicated in advance, and no impact on the experience overall. I have already visited these sites several times but having Anna's interesting insights gave new knowledge and insights I previously didn't know. Our tour was quite long, and at the midway point we stopped for lunch which was DELICIOUS! Yummy khorovats, salads, dips, and a selection of Armenian vodka, cognac, and wines, it was excellent. We will definitely come back for further tours

The southern Armenia tour with Hyur Service was the absolute highlight of my time in the country. We visited Khor Virap with its breathtaking views of Mount Ararat, the stunning red-rock canyon of Noravank, and finally Tatev Monastery — reached by the spectacular Wings of Tatev cable car and perched dramatically on the cliff’s edge. An unforgettable day from start to finish. What made it special, though, was Tamara. She has a real gift for storytelling — the kind of guide who doesn’t just recite dates but pulls you into the history until you actually feel it. Curious, generous with her time, and clearly in love with her country, she even arranged for me to stop at the Areni-1 cave, where I learned about the astonishingly ancient roots of winemaking in Armenia — a detour I’d never have thought to ask for and won’t forget. It’s a long day of driving, but she kept the energy up the whole way, even with a few sweet treats along the road to keep me going. By the end I felt I understood Armenia, not just seen it.
