From then on traveling will be by foot, traversing through virgin forest to the frozen lake destination. Learn how to ice fish by learning how to drill your fishing hole with your guide. Learn how to use other special tools, and learn some local techniques on how to catch fish. As you enjoy the peace of ice fishing, your guide will turn back to the bank of the forest to start a fire and later a light lunch of smoked salmon. Grilling your catch from the lake is also possible although many opt for catch and release.
