Arctic Circle Day Trip from Fairbanks with Transportation

Meet a guide at your Fairbanks hotel and then board a climate-controlled van for the 200-mile (322-kilometer) trip across the Arctic Circle.

You’ll be traveling the Dalton Highway, first built as a supply road for the Trans-Alaska Pipeline, and you’ll sometimes see the massive pipeline system along the way. Snacks and drinks are provided on the road, and there’s lots to spot from the vehicle, including native wildlife and gorgeous scenery.

When you reach the Arctic Circle, stretch your legs, snap some photos, and enjoy an Arctic picnic of beef stew and a sandwich (vegetarian option also available). Here, spend some time learning about indigenous Alaskan cultures, before returning to Fairbanks with an official Arctic Circle certificate.

Please dress appropriately. During the winter months, temperatures are usually very low, so please dress in layers and wear warm winter clothing. During the summer month it could get very warm and rain might be always possible. We recommend to bring sturdy shoes and a rain/weather jacket.
The weather conditions are in no way predictable in our area and we will not offer a refund in case of too many clouds.
