Aquaworld Wreck Dive

8am 2-tank MUSA/reef dive: 

Depart the meeting point at 8am and head out for the amazing MUSA, home of the Underwater Sculpture Museum. View 450+ life-size sculptures that form an artificial reef, this area attracts many types of marine life.  Learn about the special materials used in the sculptures from your guide and how they promote coral life.

This trip is a 2 tank dive with a second reef dive included.  Choose between diving the shallow calm waters of Manchones reef area (daily) or a 55ft dive outside of the bay (Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, experienced divers only)

Ask any questions about the natural surroundings or safety issues, then dive in. Feel safe in the excellent ratio of 4-6 divers per dive master, knowing that you will be taken care of. Spend 40 minutes below the surface discovering the diverse marine life and the vibrant colors of the reef.

1-tank Night Dive:

Plunge into the warm Caribbean See by the light of the moon. Catch glimpses of the reef's nocturnal species, including parrotfish, squid, nurse sharks and octopus. 

8am 2-tank Wreck Dive:

Discover the C-58 Minesweeper, sunk off the coast of Cancun in the 1980s. See marine life in all the hollows of this foundered ship, following your dive instructor's lead to the most interesting parts of the ship. Dive to 85 feet (26 meters) and encounter packs of barracudas and rays.

With so many water sports options in Cancun, it can be difficult to choose. This half-day 2-tank scuba diving adventure offers even more. Explore an artificial reef at MUSA, an underwater sculpture museum. Or, explore the “General Anaya,” a C-58 Minesweeper from World War II. For your second dive, splash into the calm waters of Manchones Reef or take a shallow dive outside the bay.
