Annecy Half-Day Independent Tour from Geneva

Make your way to the Geneva Bus Station, where you meet a driver for your departure to Annecy. Bring your passport for this tour, as you cross the French border part way through the drive.

Annecy sits on the shores of a glacial lake, considered one of the cleanest in Europe. Rising from Lake Annecy’s crystalline waters are massifs and rocky peaks that are reflected on its glassy surface. The Thiou river, an outflow of the lake, runs through La Vieille Ville (Old Town) in translucent, sea-green canals. Visitors walk along their flowering banks, exploring private passages and secret spaces.

Take a stroll on the shores of Lake Annecy and then spend the remaining tour time exploring the Alpine gem at your own leisure.

You may spend 3 hours to explore this lovely hermitage before departing back to Geneva for 7 pm.
