Annapurna Base Camp is the most visited trekking destination among the native and foreign trekkers that come to Nepal. The trekkers have the choice to take the common route to Annapurna Base Camp or the optional route to Annapurna Sanctuary to form the trip a bit extended one. The magnificent views of mountains together with Annapurna and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail peak), the attractive natural vegetations and cultural diversity make Annapurna Base Camp trek an interesting journey to be cherished throughout life. This trek is of moderate difficulty because the trekkers have to walk for 6-7 hours per day on the normal trekking trails. However, ascending to the base camp could be a bit physically tight.
