Great Private Tour with Journey Cambodia
We did a private Angkor Wat sunrise tour with Journey Cambodia at the beginning of September 2026. Setha was our guide and Sambath was our driver for the day. Communications before the tour was very prompt and they kindly accommodated our request to change tour dates due to possible rain. During the tour, Setha was very knowledgeable and knew the best spots for photos around the different temples. He was also a very good photographer, assisting us to take memorable photos of our visit to Angkor Wat. We learnt so much about the area and the different temples from Setha. Sambath, our driver, also looked after us well, having the van running with AC on whenever we returned to it and always having a cool wipe and cold bottle of water ready for us. We enjoyed our private tour with these 2 gentlemen and would highly recommend doing a private tour, if budgets allow, to have the full attention of the guide and to be able to follow our own schedule instead of waiting for everyone else. Thank you again Setha, Sambath and Journey Cambodia for our eye-opening and educational tour of Angkor Wat and its surrounds. Things to note: 1) The Angkor Wat temple fee is not included in the tour price. Easiest would be to purchase it online before the tour date. 2) The Angkor Wat temple ticket is for a specific date so if you change your tour date, there is some hassle with the ticket inspectors at the different temples, having to explain the date change.
Angkor Watt Sunrise Tour
We did the Angkor Watt sunrise tour with Mr Serakyuth. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. He made a great effort to take amazing photos and talked us through the intricate carvings on the monuments. A great tour!

Wonderful Tour Company
Can really recommend the sunrise tour with Journey Cambodia, we went as a family of 4 and really enjoyed it. Bun, our tour guide was brilliant, very knowledgeable and funny. He showed us the key sites, pointing out interesting things we would have missed and was always I'm hand to take a great family photo. The driver Vichit did a great job always ready with cold towels and water whenever we got back on the bus which along with the A/C was much appreciated. Would definitely book other tours with them.
