Summary

After pickup from your Santiago hotel, head toward Cajon del Maipo, optionally stopping for breakfast in a local town along the way. Warm up with a 25-minute hike to a popular waterfall. Then, begin your 3-hour trek to a vista point in La Engorda Valley with panoramic views of San Jose Volcano and the Andes Mountains stretching far beyond. Your guides never rush you and keep you entertained with information about the ecosystem as you hike. Your guides also carry backpacks with snacks and water so you don’t have to, and they make you a picnic lunch to eat while you admire views. Please note: This tour is of medium difficulty and intended for people in good physical condition between 8 and 70 years old.
