Summary

After pickup from your Santiago hotel, head toward Cajon del Maipo, optionally stopping for breakfast in a local town along the way. Warm up with a 25-minute hike to a popular waterfall. Then, begin your 3-hour trek to a vista point in La Engorda Valley with panoramic views of San Jose Volcano and the Andes Mountains stretching far beyond. Your guides never rush you and keep you entertained with information about the ecosystem as you hike. Your guides also carry backpacks with snacks and water so you don’t have to, and they make you a picnic lunch to eat while you admire views. Tour concludes with a celebratory glass of Chilean wine and drop-off at your Santiago hotel. Please note: This tour is of medium difficulty and intended for people in good physical condition between 8 and 70 years old. Those with asthma, heart problems, obesity, or a surgical operation in the past six months should not attempt the trek. Tour is only available year-round.

Yes, we do have face masks. We ask tour participants to please bring their own masks, ideally reusable. As we are an ecological company we prefer not to have to use disposable masks to avoid contamination. We will also have an affidavit from the passenger that is free of the disease.
