Fantastic Family Day Out – Great Wave Pool & Relaxing Pool Bar!
We had a brilliant day at Andamanda Waterpark. The highlight was definitely the giant wave pool, and the slides were good fun for everyone. As expected with a park of this quality, there were some queues for the top rides, but the waits were totally manageable. Highlights: Pool Bar & Infinity Pool: A fantastic find! It offers a lovely, relaxed vibe with great staff—the perfect spot to unwind between rides. Rides & Wave Pool: Excellent variety of attractions and high-energy water slides. Food & Dietary Considerations: The food hall was a bit disappointing overall. Gluten-Free Options: For anyone requiring a gluten-free diet, options were quite limited (no gluten-free pizza available). However, the GF pasta option was genuinely delicious! The chicken burger was just average, but there are plenty of other food stalls across the different park zones to explore. Overall, a super fun day out for all ages. Highly recommended when visiting Phuket!
False price guarantee, Trip Advisor $$$. Use Klook instead
Water park is fabulous but do not book through Trip Advisor. Klook is far cheaper and even though trip advisor states they have a price guarantee, its a lie. They wont match the price on klook. Be aware trip advisor price is in USD. Not clearly stated until paid.
Enough rides to keep us entertained
We spent most of the day exploring different slides and pools. There was something suitable for everyone in our group. The lockers were busy around midday, but the rest of the visit was smooth.
Ok experience, not great value
Lots of the slides are tubes which take an exceptionally long time to get people on. Therefore even a short queue can take a long time. Expensive for what it is, Sydney is expensive and this water park costs a similar amount to there. Food was ok, a pizza could be shared between 2 people 250bht. Female showers smelt like a male toilet. In general not great value for money but fun day if you like that sort of thing.
A fantastic experience
We had a totally fantastic day in the park. There’s something for all ages; bold or not. Children's area is divided into two - one for the very young, and one for the older children (our are 8 and 10). There are several smaller skates. We also tried several of the big slides and they were really fun. Everywhere there is staff, who partly send you off, but who are also ready to help you up/out. They are very important in safety - all are weighed by the larger skates. There are lifeguards above everything. There are a lot of two-rides where the child sits at the front of a bathing; it works really well! An important height is 122cm! We rented a cabana for 2500baht incl 2 popcorn and 2 soda - nice to be able to sit in the shade as well as lie down and take a break. There are lights as well as propeller in the ceiling. All in all a good experience and we will definitely come back.
