Anchorage Bike and Brewery Tour

Summary Description

After meeting up with your guide and small-group companions, leave bustling downtown Anchorage on a moderate 8-mile (13-km) bike ride that follows the paved paths of the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail.

Take in sweeping views of the mountains and Cook Inlet coast while keeping an eye out for Alaskan wildlife such as moose or other native critters. Learn from your guide about the natural and human history of Anchorage as you ride this renowned trail that links the city and wilderness. Your guide proceeds at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops for photo ops.

When you return to downtown after a morning of biking, have free time to purchase lunch before the second half of your tour.

Experience some of Anchorage’s finest breweries and get an insider's perspective on the people behind the local craft brewing industry. After a morning of exercise and fresh air, a handcrafted beer hits the spot.

During three stops on your brewery tour, expect to enjoy a minimum of 12 beer tastings plus a selection of appetizers at Midnight Sun Brewing Company. You might meet one of the brewmasters in town, have a look inside the brewing facilities (as availability allows) and hear about the award-winning beers being created in Anchorage. Your brewery tour includes round-trip transportation and ends in downtown Anchorage.
