Making a trail adapted to the user's level, we will start following this criterion through one of the most beautiful places in Tenerife. In this area of the island is where the greatest variety of endemic species per square meter of Europe is condensed.

The conservation of nature and traditions of this area of the island, are the result of the care and care of those who inhabit it: Salto del pastor, the so-called heroic viticulture, grazing goats, terraces grown potatoes and sweet potatoes, legends of Menceyato Guanche, houses-caves still inhabited, traditional Canarian architecture XVI and XVIII centuries, etc.

In this unique place, life still passes in slow motion and its extreme conditions make its inhabitants true heroes. We will find uses, traditions and customs of the past. Its subsistence agriculture, potatoes, sweet potatoes, fruits ... and its basically goat farming that provides good cheeses and excellent dishes of goat meat, make the visit to a guachinche an authentic and obligatory experience.
