Meet your guide and small group of no more than 15 people in central Amsterdam in time for an 11.30am departure. Set out to explore the historic city on foot and, depending on the weather, perhaps see Amsterdam’s monuments dusted with snow. Stroll around Amsterdam’s famous canals, stopping to peek inside the Flower Market and take photos of the striking waterfront buildings. Explore the Jewish Quarter, where you can learn more about the city’s WWII history, then continue to see landmarks such as the Royal Palace and the Munttoren. Depending on the date of your visit, you will also have chance to enjoy some of Amsterdam’s Christmas festivities or admire the spectacular illuminations of the Amsterdam Light Festival.
Finally, warm up from the winter weather with a hot chocolate and a Dutch stroopwafel — the perfect end to your morning. Your tour ends around 1.30pm in central Amsterdam.
