Sample a cup of one of their many freshly brewed coffees. Next it’s time to visit some of the museums to get a feel for the history of the island. At the Bali Museum see the various collections of weapons, sculptures, paintings, textiles, musical instruments and theatrical masks. Then visit Bajra Sandi, the war museum, with its impressive monument and exhibits that portray the different wars that were fought during Indonesia’s fight for independence.
