We will meet at the square Slovenski trg, from where we’ll walk into the old town. There we’ll start at Prešeren’s House which was once home to the greatest Slovenian poet. We’ll visit the Janez Puhar Museum – he was a priest who invented the technique of photography on glass and we'll discover why some people of his parish thought that he made a deal with the devil. After him, we’ll get to know Leopold Layer, the Baroque painter who forged money and then was redeemed by painting Mary Help of Christians in Brezje. In the castle of Khislstein, we will clothe ourselves into the lamellar armour worn by the military elite of antiquity and then we’ll descend to a 1400-year-old cemetery with an ossuary. In the underground tunnels, you will be able to experience the simulation of an air raid. Finally, we will come to Pungert, the place where the history of Kranj began.
