Why take this tour?
From central Amsterdam you will be picked up to drive you comfortably to Zaanse Schans, where Kaatje Slagter, your local traditionally 18th century dressed host awaits you. She will show you around the green wooden houses, the traditional crafts and the windmills at Zaanse Schans and she will invite you to her 18th century home for a Dutch treat. During or after your 1 hour tour with your unique local host you will will board a boat for a windmill cruise (boat tckets included) and you will be brought to a windmill for you to visit (entrance fees included). After this, you will have one hour or 4 hours time to experience the Zaanse Schans on your own before you will be brought back to Amsterdam, Central Station area. You can go back at 2:30pm or 5pm whcih is up to you.
