Your professional English-speaking tour guide will meet you at the hotel lobby to start Start your Alexandria tour fro Cairo by visiting the Pompey’s Pillar, the only remaining pillar from the Roman temple which stands tall on a rocky plateau in the surrounding ruins of the Serapeum, then you will move to the medieval Citadel of Qaitbay. After that, you will visit the Catacombs of Kom El Shoqafa, These tombs represent the last great existing construction for the sake of the ancient Egyptian religion. Then we will move to The Bibliotheca of Alexandria. It was founded at the beginning of the 3rd century BC. C. by Ptolomeno I and extended by his son Ptlomeo II, but in later times its importance was diminishing and its collections were lost, due to the changes in power and successive invasions. Finally, you will enjoy your amazing gourmet Lunch in a high-quality restaurant. Then you will be transferred back to Cairo and you will have a break on the way
