After pickup from hotel in an air-conditioned coach, travel to the port for your Bosphorus sightseeing cruise. Take photos of landmarks from the water as you sail under the Bosphorus Bridge, and view opulent Ottoman mansions and palaces. Spot Rumeli Fortress, waterside cafes, Beylerbeyi Palace, and the gardens of Yildiz Palace.
Then, disembark and travel by coach around the Golden Horn inlet. Pass through the old Jewish quarter in Balat and see synagogues and townhouses, and then view the cast-iron Church of St Stephen of the Bulgars, the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate, the Jewish Hospital, and the remains of the Byzantine city walls.
Continue to Pierre Loti Hill and ride the cable car up the hillside, where you’ll pause at the top to enjoy a drink (own expense) and admire the views of the Golden Horn below.
