Adaptive Diving Tenerife

Summary

Once gathered at the meeting point we will embark at the agreed time in our boat "Jacaré Uno". It is a diving baptism or first contact with diving. The procedure will be explained to the visitor. You will also receive a Brief explanation of the fauna that we can find and what will be our way of observation, characteristics of the behavior of the animals that we will find (seabirds, fish, invertebrates ...) as well as characteristics of the coast and the currents. Upon arrival at the dive site, visitors will be equipped with high quality equipment and will be reminded of the procedure. They will also be given some records that your instructor will hold and that will help the correct identification of the underwater species. After the dive, the visit will continue aboard the Jacaré where we can review the species guides and have some snacks, a snack and explanations will be given about the threat factors of the species and ecosystems. We will sail again to visit new enclaves of our coast and then we will return to Puerto Colón.

Why take this tour?

The adapted diving provides a feeling of unparalleled freedom, allows you to feel the weightlessness of the aquatic bottoms, observe the beauty of the underwater flora and fauna, enjoy a different way of contact with nature. Far from typical, this activity brings to our users a whole world of new sensations. Somehow, inside the water we all have a disability; After all, we are out of our natural environment. In this activity, the barriers are set by the sea. The only difference is that people with disabilities who embark on the adventure of adaptive diving need certain adaptations that we mentioned before. Many people with disabilities enjoy diving as a therapy. During the dive, physical restrictions are forgotten and, in some cases, there is even relief from pain and discomfort. Diving can help people rehabilitate.
