The museum anchors extraordinary work relating to Ghana’s independence and tours at the park gives you a comprehensive history of the struggle for independence. After lunch this afternoon, you will visit the W.E.B Du Bois Centre, established in 1985, as a research institution for Pan-African history and culture. You will visit the Independence Square which was commissioned in 1961 by Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first President and stop will be the Arts Center in Accra where you will have the opportunity to bargain and buy souvenirs for friends and family. We finally stop at the Christiansborg Castle popularly known as the Osu castle.
