Beautiful area!
It was a beautiful tour I would recommend this tour to everyone! Bar Harbor is an amazing place!
Could Use Some Improvement
I thought it was a good introduction to the park but 2.5h is just really fast, ends up being about 15 mins per stop so you have to book it. Having the guide stay at the bus sort of negates having their expertise as well. During the guided portions of the drive it was mostly history vs science which for me as an environmental scientist was a disappointment. A quick suggestion is to keep politics and the guides personal (incorrect) opinions on scientific principles such as climate change which he called global warming and stated he felt was not real…out of the tour unless he educates himself on it.
Acadia National Park narrated tour
This was a fabulous tour….and our guide, Rick, in particular. We learned so much history about Acadia National Park and the surrounding area - ‘never would have even thought of some of the things he brought up! The stories he recounted were rich with facts and commentary - go ahead and take this tour, you won’t be sorry!
Short Acadia tour
Fun way to see parts of Acadia Natl Park. Don't have to worry about driving or parking inside the park. Guide was knowledgeable. Tour was too short but gave an overview of the park.
