A Sunset Stroll to the Sultans Palace in Diabat.

We meet about 1.5h before sunset. This one-hour ramble through the dunes and along the riverbed of Oued Ksob will allow you to encounter the richness of the natural environment around Essaouira.

You will discover a former Sultan‛s palace, which over time has surrendered to the sand and now sits in state in the midst of a wild nature. This huge sanded palace, dating back to the foundation of Essaouira in the 18th century invites you to dream of times gone by.

We will give you some historical background about this site and afterwards in Diabat we will let our imaginations

fly whilst sipping tea and watching the sunset over the Mogador islands…
