Marvel at iconic landmarks such as the Amphitheater, the Antique Theater, and the magnificent Saint Trophime Church.

Unveiling Roman Treasures
The Roman Amphitheater, built in the 1st Century, stands proudly north of Arles as a testament to the city's Roman heritage. With a seating capacity of up to 25,000 spectators, it hosted grandiose antique games until the fall of the Roman Empire.
Adjacent to the Amphitheater, explore the remnants of the Antique Theater, commissioned by Emperor Auguste and once capable of accommodating 10,000 spectators. Take in the fascinating history and discover the remarkable Venus of Arles, a famed archaeological find.

Following Van Gogh's Footsteps
Step into the world of Vincent Van Gogh as you trace his artistic journey during his stay in Arles between 1888 and 1889. During this period, Vincent Van Gogh produced around 300 drawings and paintings. In the city, the places where he set up his easel are marked by panels which reproduce each of his paintings. A dozen locations have been identified. Discover the locations where he found inspiration !
