I booked the sightseeing...
I booked the sightseeing riverboat cruise- as we were getting on the boat, we were told which decks were open (the top two as this was not a lunch or dinner cruise). There were open air seating options, or interior options. I chose to sit on the top deck for the views (did not disappoint). Our guide was phenomenal- it was clear that he really knew (and loved) the history. Food and drinks were available for purchase. I did not partake in the food, so I cannot comment on the quality, but the bar drinks were fine. I would absolutely recommend this experience to friends.
Disappointed!!
I was very disappointed in the Savannah Riverboat Cruise. It was less than interesting to hear the narrator drone on about the Savannah River and its value to the nation’s shipping industry. Unlike the historic city tour, there were no beautiful sites to see. I couldn’t wait for the tour to be over. I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone. The town itself is so beautiful that it’s better to spend your visit on the land.
It’s was worth the...
It’s was worth the evening. Learning about historical facts of Savannah and Atlanta was not what I anticipated. However, it was a great experience hanging with family/friends.

This is a VERY informative, casual excursion on the Savannah River. Narrator was great. A very nice experience.
Smooth, Convenient and Informative
Everything went smoothly. You arrive early to have your picture taken before entering the ship. It was convenient for our friend that needed handicapped assistance. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Phu, our bartender, was nice. The Narrator was very informative and pleasant. Ride was smooth. It was a wonderful way to sit, relax and enjoy the cruise along the Savannah River.
