Description
You will be challenged, and you will learn a lot about yourself along the way. This is the one of the funnest and most challenging technical backpacking routes in the Kenai Mountains – pioneered exclusively by KBA! Mountaineering techniques are utilized throughout the entire trip.
You will scale mountains, hike knife ridges, cross streams, trek across glaciers, camp near gorgeous lakes, and witness views few have ever seen. Oh and did we mention the wildlife?! This area is full of wildlife, sometimes in the least expected places.
While this adventure has a base rating of strenuous, we do have ways to make it less strenuous by exercising various route changes. This works well with younger adventurers or folks that want the full adventure but aren’t able to push as hard as our hardest route requires.

Know Before You Book

- Minimum age requirement of 14 years old
- Under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult
- Bring snacks, and a water bottle (water will be refilled at camp)
- Waterproof rain jacket & rain pants required
- Bring a backpack 70-80 liters, clothes for dressing in layers
