Summary

Day one: Nairobi Masai Mara - Safari starts with pick up from a Nairobi hotel or airport. After the safari briefing, depart Nairobi by 0800hrs driving through the floor of the Great Rift Valley and past the base town of Narok to arrive Masai Mara. In the afternoon enjoy an evening game drive in Masai Mara National Reserve. Dinner and overnight is at Mara Explorer Backpackers Camp (en-suite tent wing)/Mara Sopa Lodge/Mara Leisure Camp. Day two: Masai Mara - After breakfast, it is the time to enjoy full day game drive in Masai Mara with morning and evening game drive. Overnight will be at a similar property as day one. This is a game drive where you will be able to spot different animals inside the park. Overnight at Mara Sopa Lodge. Day three: Masai Mara to Serengeti - Depart Masai Mara after an early breakfast driving with lunch box driving to the Kenya/Tanzania border of Isebania. After clearing with immigration formalities, change vehicles and proceed to Serengeti arriving with an introductory game drive to the camp or lodge. Dinner and overnight is at Kijereshi Camp (bungalow room category)/Grumeti Migration Camp. Day four: Serengeti - After breakfast, it’s time to enjoy a full day in Serengeti with morning and evening game drives. Lunch, dinner, and overnight will be at Katikati tented lodge/Serengeti Tortilis, Sopa Lodge, or Wildlife Lodge. Here is the best time for your balloon safari, night game drive etc. Day five: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area - Depart Serengeti after breakfast with lunch boxes via Ol Duvai Gorge Museum. Proceed to arrive at Ngorongoro Conservation Area on the rim of the crater. You will overnight at Rhino lodge/Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge. If you want extra activities such as walking, that can all be organized. Day six: Ngorongoro to Lake Manyara/Tarangire National Parks - After breakfast, depart for a leisurely morning transfer to Lake Manyara/Tarangire. You will be arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game drive in Lake Manyara National Park/Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight will be at a place like the previous nights. Day seven: Lake Manyara/Tarangire to Arusha/Departure - After breakfast, start driving toward Lake Manyara National Park or Tarangire for a half day game drive. After lunch you start driving toward the city of Arusha. Overnight at your hotel or be dropped to your extension to Zanzibar, Kilimanjaro trekking, and other destinations.
