Great way to experience all over the Iceland
The tour was amazing, and we were lucky to have very nice weather throughout the trip. We even got to see the Northern Lights in late August! During the 6 days of the tour, I fully enjoyed the beauty of Iceland. Our tour guide, Juliana Santos is very nice, informative, professional and attentive. She tried her best to accommodate everyone in the group as much as possible. Communication between the operating company was excellent. They responded to our inquiries very quickly, both before and during the trip. The choice of hotels, however, was not quite what I expected or what was advertised. On a couple of nights, we had to stay at different hotels than those advertised on the website, and they were well below our expectations. Especially on the third day, the hotel was not even in the town of Egilsstadir. It was in a remote area, which was inconvenient for shopping, finding food, etc. The hotel was also well below the expected standard. The room was more like a campsite cottage, and the shower drain was not working properly, forcing us to turn the water on and off during the shower to prevent the bathroom from flooding. There was also no shampoo or body soap provided in the room. Overall, everything else was very good, but the hotel choices were a big disappointment. I chose this tour partly because the advertised hotel choices seemed better than those offered by other tours, so I was especially disappointed with this part of the experience.

Addi was a lot of fun and very informative 👍. Iceland is way colder than Hawaii but very similar in many ways.

Lots of beautiful things to see and recommend it
Overall great experience and saw many beautiful sights. Just gorgeous scenery. Really a once in a lifetime bucket list trip that I highly recommend. Our guide David is extremely knowledgeable and apparently in high demand. He has shown movie stars and many famous people around Iceland. My only complaint was his tendency to bring up US politics in a negative way. Really didn’t come to Iceland to hear his or Iceland’s political views. At one point he stated that at least “half of us were welcome”? Apparently some people on the bus enjoyed it, some ignored it and at least a couple were offended. I thought it was not necessary. I was on vacation to get away from politics and don’t really care about his or people’s personal views.
