Day 1 : Meet and greet with your guide at Khajuraho airport / railway station.Board the awaiting vehicle & proceed for your hotel.After c/in & rest, proceed for the “Western Group of Temples”. Khajuraho in  Madhya Pradesh is famous for groups of Hindu and Jain temples. These temples are a UNESCO World Heritage Site for their beautiful and erotic rock carvings.Built between 950-1050 AD by the Chandela Dynasty, these temples depict various forms like meditation, spiritual teachings, kinship, wrestling, royalty and most significantly, erotic art. The temples consist of stunning displays of fine sculptures and exceptional architectural skill, making them one of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in India.Based on their geographical location, the temples are categorized into three groups: Eastern, Western and Southern. Beautiful, intricate and expressive, the sculptures of the Khajuraho temples will leave you in awe and wonder.Also witness the “Light & Sound Show” ( by self ). Overnight Khajuraho. Day 2 : Today, your guide will take you to “Raneh Falls” ( 20 kms from Khajuraho ). The Raneh Falls is a natural water fall on the Ken River &  forms a 5 kilometres long, and 30 metres (98 ft) deep canyon made of pure crystalline granite in varying shades of colours ranging from pink and red to grey. There is a series of waterfalls in the canyon. The Ken Gharial Sanctuary is located at the confluence of the Ken and Khudar rivers further down from Reneh Falls. Rest of the time to explore Khajuraho.  Overnight Khajuraho.  Day 3 : Post breakfast, c/out & proceed for Orchha ( 175 kms | 3.5 hrs drive ). Arrive Orccha, c/in & after rest, proceed for local site seeing. The historic town of Orchha, nestled on the banks of river Betwa, was founded in the 16th century by the Bundela Rajput Chief, Rudra Pratap. Here, the river Betwa splits into seven channels, also called the Satdhara. Legend goes that this is in honour of the seven erstwhile Chiefs of Orchha.The ancient town seems frozen in time, with its many monuments continuing to retain their original grandeur even to this day. Here you will find some of the most fascinating temples and palaces that will help you realise a childhood fantasy – travelling back in time ! Overnight Orchha. Day 4 : Post breakfast, c/out & proceed for Orchha ( 175 kms | 3.5 hrs drive ).The entire day at leisure to explore Orchha. Your guide will assist you to enjoy rafting on the Betwa river,should you wish to. End the day with a spectacular “Light & Sound show”. Overnight Orchha. Day 5 : Post breakfast, c/out & proceed for Khajuarho /Jhansi ( 17 kms | 40 mins drive ) to catch your flight / train for home feeling contented about a memorable holiday spend in Madhya Pradesh : The Heart of Incredible India.
