45-Minute Scenic Flight to Aialik Glacier and Bear Glacier from Seward

Check in at the airfield in Seward, where you will undergo a safety briefing with your pilot. Expect personalized service on this flight that carries no more than six passengers. Don your headset, which allows you to hear your pilot more clearly.

Then take to the skies and fly out to Resurrection Bay. As the forest recedes, a snowy landscape appears as you soar toward the water and fjords along the coastline. Your pilot circles the area so that you can take pictures of the stunning bay.

Admire Bear Glacier, largest glacier from the Harding Ice Field, and Aialik Glacier, the sheer walls of which drop into the ocean.  

During the return flight, soak up aerial views of the Kenai Fjords National Park and surrounding countryside.

Our 45 minute scenic flight visits both Bear Glacier and Aialik Glacier. Bear Glacier is the largest glacier descending from the Harding Icefield in Kenai Fjords National Park at over 11 miles long and 3 miles wide. Bear Glacier lagoon features impressive icebergs. Continue on to Aialik Glacier which boasts an impressive ice wall that is over 500 feet high! Watch for calving on this immense glacier and truly appreciate the grandeur of Alaska's environments by getting up close to them!

Due to FAA regulations, weight restrictions apply, there is a 290lb weight limit per seat, including everything going in the helicopter with guests. There is also an overall weight limit, if your group of 2 or 3 individuals, exceeds 575lb, please call our office to complete your booking. Misrepresented weights may result in the inability to do the tour without reimbursement.
