Walkabout through the ethnic village highlights the Ancestral Home. Every year in March they honor their ancestors and ask for better business, protection from all evils. They now work in Plantations and farms. Proceed to Bukit Melawati - an old Fort Hill with remains of a Lighthouse, Executioner's table and a poisoned well. The Royal graves of 3 sultans are also here. An added attraction would be the silvered leaf monkeys that have made the hill as their home. Photo shoots only. Dazzling Fireflies After seafood dinner at a riverside Cafe, catch a boat for an exhilarating ride at dusk to watch fireflies resting, feeding and making love - a mating ritual. Their synchronous flash is produced by a biochemical reaction in their light organs situated on their bottoms. A fascinating sight to behold and silence to prevail. Return transfer to Kuala Lumpur arriving approx. 9pm. End of tour.

ITINERARY
0700hrs Depart for Kuala Tahan, Taman Negara, enroute FREE BATU CAVES TOUR
# BATU CAVES is a limestone outcrop. The 272 steps climb into the Cave will take you to the Temple of Hindu Deity Lord Subramaniam aka Lord Murugan. He is honoured during the Hndu Festival of THAIPUSAM in January or February every year. His 140 feet Statue is mesmerising.
(Decent attire is Mandatory for Ladies to enter the Temple proper).

1100hrs On arrival at Kuala Tahan, activities begin...
